CWU Trustees to Meet in Ellensburg February 19-20

The Central Washington University Board of Trustees will hold its quarterly meeting February 19-20, 2026, in Ellensburg. The meeting is open to the public.

On Thursday, February 19, the board will begin with an executive session, as allowed under RCW 42.30.110 (1)(g), at 11 a.m. The executive session is expected to last approximately one hour. At approximately 12 p.m. Thursday, the board and Executive Leadership Team will break for lunch; no business will be conducted.

The regular business meeting will convene at 1:15 p.m. at the Moehring Event Center on the CWU campus and will go until approximately 4:30 p.m. Among the first items on the agenda will be an opportunity for public comment.

Rules pertaining to the public comment period are available at cwu.edu/trustees. To participate in the public comment period, speakers must identify themselves and the topic to be addressed via email to cwu.president@cwu.edu by Monday, February 16, at 5 p.m.

On Friday, February 20, the board will begin with an executive session, as allowed under RCW 42.30.110 (1)(g), at 8:30 a.m. The executive session is expected to last approximately 30 minutes. The regular business meeting will convene at 9:15 a.m. and will go until approximately 10:45 a.m. Board and Executive Leadership Team members will then experience a lab demonstration in Discovery Hall. No business will be conducted.
