Central Washington University will host an Emergency Readiness and Preparedness Fair on Tuesday, October 21, and members of the CWU and Ellensburg communities are invited to attend.

Anyone interested in bolstering their ability to navigate emergency situations and developing a robust network of community partners will benefit from the fair. The free event, hosted by the CWU Office of Emergency Management, will be held from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. in SURC 137.

The fair will feature booths from campus and community partners, including the City of Ellensburg, Kittitas Valley Fire and Rescue, CWU Police, the Washington State Emergency Management Division, Yakima Valley Emergency Management, and more. Participants will be eligible to participate in raffles to win prizes as they develop their own preparedness tools and skills for staying safe all year long.

This event is open to the public, and no pre-registration is required. For more information, and to request accessibility accommodations, email EmergencyManagement@cwu.edu.
