If you haven’t yet submitted your nominations for the 2025 President’s Diversity Awards, now is the time.

The nomination deadline is Friday, March 7, and they can be submitted online.

For the 11th year in a row, the Central Washington University community will come together for the President’s Diversity Awards to recognize and celebrate our collective efforts towards equity and belonging.

The Thursday, April 17, event, co-sponsored by the CWU President’s Office and the Office of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusivity, highlights the dedication and commitment of our remarkable colleagues, students, and community members who embody these values.

CWU will honor up to five individuals in each of four categories — students, faculty, staff, and community members — along with one recipient of the Bobby Cummings Lifetime Achievement Award.

The 5 p.m. event in the SURC Ballroom will feature a keynote address by Patrisse Cullors, an award-winning organizer, artist, abolitionist, and scholar-activist who co-founded the Black Lives Matter movement.

Free tickets for the President’s Diversity Awards will be available at Wildcat Tickets through April 10.
