Members of the CWU and Ellensburg communities who would like to have a say in how Kittitas County addresses the issue of homelessness over the next five years are invited to complete a short online survey by Monday, August 19.

A countywide work group is in the process of updating the county’s five-year plan for homelessness and housing, and feedback from the community will be crucial as we look to support those in need and create effective solutions.

Among the potential service offerings listed in the survey are emergency shelters, move-in assistance, job training, behavioral health services, rental assistance, and more.

Additional questions include “What barriers do you think people experiencing homelessness face when trying to access services in Kittitas County?” and “Who should we engage in our community to help drive the formation of our five-year homelessness plan?”

If you would like to learn more about the survey or need additional information about the work group, email bbouchouari@hopesource.us.
