The fall 2024 edition of CWU’s award-winning publication, produced by University Relations and University Advancement, features in-depth stories about CWU programs, students, faculty, staff, and alumni. The 50-page fall edition arrived in mailboxes the second weekend of December and was distributed across the Ellensburg campus the week of December 16.

For those who prefer to read the magazine online, the website has now been updated. A downloadable PDF is also available.

Here’s a snapshot of what you’ll find in the fall 2024 edition:

  • Longtime Scholarship Luncheon coordinator Ruth Harrington retired last summer after leading the group for 50 years and raising well over $1 million to help CWU students pay their tuition.
  • CWU’s world-renowned Primate Studies program continues to be the destination for those interested in a career working with chimpanzees and other primates.
  • Newly established economic development organization, CWU Business and Community Services, is helping communities across the region re-envision their futures.
  • CWU Construction Management program has big plans for the future, seeking to become the state’s destination for prospective industry professionals.
  • Aviation program alum Josh Soltan just completed his third and final year as a pilot for the U.S. Navy Blue Angels.
  • CWU is responding to the growing need for mental health professionals by reopening our community clinic and reintroducing our popular master’s degree program.
