The Symposium On University Research and Creative Expression (SOURCE) celebrates its 23rd year dedicated to student scholarship at Central Washington University. On the Ellensburg campus, SOURCE will be held from 8:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. on May 16 and 17 in the Student Union Recreation Center. The event is free and open to the public.

The symposium provides students, faculty and staff from all departments and units with a platform to present their individual or collaborative scholarly work, while providing a forum for sharing and celebrating that scholarship with the university and broader community.

The goals of SOURCE are to:

  • Celebrate the depth and diversity of scholarly inquiry and creative expression at Central Washington University;
  • Share the accomplishments of CWU students in all disciplines and on all campuses with the community;
  • Recognize outstanding scholarly work and creative activities;
  • Foster connections between students, faculty, alumni, and employers that help students develop as professionals in their field.

Students from CWU’s Puget Sound area centers also participated. SOURCE-Westside was held on Tuesday, May 14, in Des Moines.
