If you need help pitching a story to the news media (i.e., writing and distributing a press release), or if you receive an interview request and would like our support, please reach out to our Strategic Communications team at david.leder@cwu.edu or 509-963-1518. We can also provide general information about CWU and connect you with resources and subject matter experts.
Please note: We ask that any media requests to speak on behalf of the university (i.e. budget, enrollment, operations) go through our office. If you are speaking about your area of expertise or a student-focused initiative, you may proceed however you see fit. And if you have been featured in a news article, blog, or radio broadcast, please let us know so we can help promote your work!
