Andrea Herrera-Dulcet

Andrea Herrera-Dulcet is an Assistant professor in Spanish and coordinates the Spanish courses for heritage language learners. She holds a PhD. In Hispanic linguistics by the University of Arizona, with a focus on Sociolinguistics, US Spanish, the sociopolitics of language education, and the teaching of Spanish as a heritage language. Her current research explores the critical pedagogies applied to language learning, as well as language ideologies in the Spanish heritage language classroom.
