Pamela McMullin-Messier
Professor
Pam McMullin-Messier is a Professor of Sociology and has been at CWU since 2009. She earned her Ph.D. in Sociology and a graduate certificate in Gender Studies from the University of Southern California in 2006; her dissertation focused on the intersection of population-environmentalism with nationalism and human rights.
Pam has also taught in various interdisciplinary programs which include Women’s, Gender and Sexuality Studies, Environmental Studies, Douglas Honors College, and McNair Scholars. Her research interests revolve around three areas: Environment, Gender, and Population Studies.
