Laura Brant-Hoefer
Deputy Title IX Coordinator for Education and Compliance
Responsible for the intake of and initial response to reported sexual misconduct incidents as well as developing and facilitating prevention education for all members of the CWU community, including but not limited to compliance with Title IX, the Clery Act, and the Violence Against Women Act (VAWA).
Laura joined the Civil Rights Compliance team at CWU initially as an Investigator in June 2021 and was promoted to the Deputy Title IX Coordinator for Education and Compliance in summer 2023. Laura also previously worked at CWU as the Assistant Director of Student Rights & Responsibilities. Laura just completed the Master of Public Health (MPH) program at CWU, specifically exploring sexual health and sexual violence prevention during their studies, and has worked in higher education for the last 10 years in student conduct and Title IX, orientation and new student programs, as well as campus activities, at various institutional types.
