John MacArthur

Responsible for leading CWU's compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA)/Section 504, Title IX and Violence Against Women Act (VAWA), Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action (EO 11246), the Clery Act, and Washington State Ethics and Whistleblower statutes, as well as other rules and expectations outlined CWU policy and procedure.

John joined Civil Rights Compliance at CWU in September 2023. John currently serves as the Director, as well as the Title IX Coordinator, ADA Coordinator, and Ethics Advisor. Prior to joining CWU, John served as a Deputy Title IX Coordinator and Title IX Investigator and has worked in higher education for the 12 years in Institutional Research.
