Hannah Barta
Lecturer
Hannah earned a B.S. in mathematics at Central Washington University in 2018 and is a Learning Commons alum, having tutored both math and writing in her time at CWU. She attended Oregon State University for her graduate studies in mathematics, earning her M.S. in 2021. She thinks real and functional analysis applied to PDE is pretty much the best thing ever. She loves exploring complex mathematical topics with students for the first time and is especially interested in helping students improve their metacognitive skills. Off campus, she is often found listening to classical music and epic film scores, reading and writing fantasy, singing, and playing with her fluffy Siberian cat Martha.
