I am responsible for writing communications sent through the university’s Customer Relationship Management (CRM) platform. The emails, text messages, and postcards I work on go to prospective students in all stages of the enrollment process—from high schoolers just beginning their college search to admitted and matriculated students preparing for their first quarter.

My areas of focus in this role include: 

• Brand-aligned messaging: using language to convey what makes CWU unique while striving for clarity and inclusivity 

• Dynamic text: leveraging the technical allowances of a CRM platform to show and hide text conditionally and personalize the content in automated mass communications 

• Editing and proofreading: adapting content for email and assisting with the editing and proofreading of enrollment-related materials

Professional Overview:
I attended Central Washington University at both the undergraduate and graduate levels, graduating with an MA in English: Professional and Creative Writing in 2022. I have experience as a writing tutor and copywriter and was once a Graduate Teaching Assistant in the CWU English Department.

Personal Touch:
Outside of work, I usually play video games or learn to create my own.
