Katie began her career as a project manager in the old-school advertising agency world, not quite like Mad Men, but not entirely dissimilar. Then, after a contract stint at Amazon, she moved into working client-side in the marketing department at a travel company based in Seattle. After 20 years of living in the city, Katie packed up her home and chihuahua and relocated to Roslyn, WA, after landing a job with Central Washington University.
