Arun Pillutla

About Me

Background:

Dr. Arun Pillutla is an associate professor with the College of Business at Central Washington University. Arun’s higher education experience covers the whole gamut- teaching, scholarship, shared faculty governance, service to the institution, service to the profession, international higher education partnerships, peer evaluation for HLC, regional accrediting body, and service to the community as a board member of professional and cooperative organizations.

He received the prestigious Fulbright award to teach in Mongolia, 2022. Arun has extensive board level experience including two-decade long service as a board member of RIA Federal Credit Union. He served in many roles including Treasurer, Chair of Membership and Funds Management committees, and Vice Chair. He served on the Board of the Midwest Academy of Management (2016-2020), as Program Chair for 64th Annual Conference of the Midwest Academy of Management in 2021 and the President of the Midwest Academy of Management, 2021-22. 

Arun is keen to share his thought leadership on strategy, business growth, corporate governance, credit unions, international education, accreditation, and diversity & inclusion. Arun enjoys racquet ball, pickle ball, traveling and running.

25 years in higher education, 15+ years as accreditation peer evaluator, 20+ years as credit union board member
