What is your favorite class to teach?
The course I enjoy teaching most is RMT 340: Influencing Customer Decisions because it blends practical, real-world skills with meaningful personal growth. The concepts we cover—like communication, persuasion, and building relationships—are not just useful in sales careers but also in everyday interactions. It’s incredibly rewarding to see students gain confidence and recognize how these skills can positively impact their lives both professionally and personally.
My advice to students...
The best advice I can offer students is simple but powerful: communicate. Your professors truly want to see you succeed—but we can’t support what we don’t know about. Whether you're struggling with an assignment, celebrating a win, or navigating a personal challenge, reaching out opens the door for understanding, flexibility, and encouragement. Never hesitate to share your needs, concerns, or even victories. Building strong, respectful communication with your instructors is one of the smartest ways to take charge of your learning experience.
