Joey Bryant

Director of Employee Services

Primary contact for threat assessment, behavior intervention teams, death of a student, and Services & Activities Fee Committee.

Joey joined Central Washington University in 2002 as a student and came back in 2008 as a professional staff member. Joey currently serves as Interim Associate Dean of Student Engagement & Success and as the Executive Director of Student Rights & Responsibilities, overseeing the Office of Student Rights & Responsibilities and coordinating a number of university behavior intervention teams along with the Threat Assessment Team, Dean On-Call Team, and Services & Activities Fee Committee. Throughout his time in higher education, Joey has focused on crisis management and behavioral intervention from a student development and support lens, with particular focus on mental health, suicide prevention, chemical dependency, sexual assault prevention, students with disabilities, and social justice.

Outside of work, he enjoys volunteering in the community with local youth organizations and spending time with his family and dogs.
