Get to know our Faculty and Staff
Nicole Stendell-Hollis is a Professor of Food Science and Nutrition at Central Washington University where she has served since 2013. She received her PhD in Nutrition from the University of Arizona and is a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist. Stendell-Hollis' area of research has primarily focused on breast cancer research, school meals, and childhood obesity. She has over 40 research presentations in peer reviewed journals and at national conferences. Stendell-Hollis is a past President of the Washington State Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics (WSAND) (2022-2023) as well as the WSAND Conference Chair and Public Policy Coordinator.
