Igneous Petrology, Volcanology, Geochemistry
I study the chemistry of erupted material from volcanoes (both extinct and active) to reconstruct the timing of events that lead to volcanic eruptions. I am also the PI of the CHIVES lab where we make magma in-house to simulate the magmatic processes beneath volcanoes.
