Background:
         

Born and raised in Washington state, Steele (he/him) has a deep interest in helping students successfully transition from school to career. He teaches several of the personal financial planning courses and develops lasting relationships with the students he teaches. Steele's classes are characterized by their mixture of lecture and discussion, as well as his sense of humor. Steele believes that more than anything, college should be a time to develop skillsets, not just memorizing information. He focuses his assignments on developing skillsets primarily based on communication and critical thinking.

Steele is a Certified Financial Planner® and is a licensed attorney in the state of Washington.

In his personal life, Steele has a spouse, four children, and a dog. In the winter they can be found at White Pass and Snoqualmie enjoying the powder (such as it is) and in the summer they can usually be found at a campsite somewhere in the PNW. Steele enjoys reading a great deal, with his favorite genre being fantasy or science fiction.
