Ana Tonseth

Background:
         

Professor Tonseth received a Bachelor’s degree in Industrial and Systems Engineering from the Central American University of Technology (Honduras) and a Master’s degree in Logistics and Supply Chain Management from the University of Westminster (London, UK). She joined the College of Business in Winter 2014 and currently serves as Senior Lecturer in the Department of Finance and Supply Chain Management. Before joining CWU, Professor Tonseth worked in industry as Lean Champion at Hanes Brands and developing supply chain strategies for British American Tobacco. She is a Lean Six Sigma Master Black Belt and enjoys mentoring students in the classroom and through industry projects. She received an Excellence in Advising award in 2020 by the College of Business. Professor Tonseth hobbies include spending time on her family farm and the Yakima River, she enjoys gardening, cooking, canning and speaking in Spanish.
