Haley Naboychik

Lecturer

Haley Naboychik is an experienced educator who transitioned from her family's construction business to teaching. Starting as a substitute paraprofessional, she discovered her passion for education and pursued a teaching certification. Her first position in business education at an alternative school solidified her belief in hands-on, real-world learning experiences.

Naboychik now serves as Activities Director at Ellensburg High School, teaching leadership and overseeing student advisory programs. She has earned master's degrees in curriculum development and educational leadership, focusing on trauma, resilience, and practical learning experiences.

As a former industry professional, Naboychik believes real-world experience enhances teaching effectiveness. She is dedicated to preparing future Career and Technical Education (CTE) teachers and creating impactful learning opportunities for students across all achievement levels.

Naboychik recognizes that teaching is both challenging and rewarding. She emphasizes the importance of developing lessons, integrating prior knowledge, and assessing student learning as crucial aspects of effective teaching. In her role as an instructor, she is enthusiastic about helping aspiring teachers learn and gather resources to be successful and effective in their classrooms.
