About Me

Personal Statement:

As a first-generation and Washington native, Amber is passionate about increasing access to higher education and student support services to make higher education a reality for more people. Amber is an alumna of CWU’s College of Arts and Humanities, earning her bachelor’s degree in Philosophy specializing in Religious Studies, and then she earned her master’s degree in Organizational Leadership from Gonzaga University. Darting has served in many roles at CWU, including enrollment assistant, academic advisor, interim Associate Dean of Academic Success and Advising, and is currently the Director for Learner Access and Success for the College of Business.
