Marisa Humphrey

I have been teaching for the English department since 2004, focusing mainly on first year composition and occasionally Intro to Literature. I grew up in Goldendale, WA, a very small town in a rural setting, and I love the weather and geology of the dry, desert-side of Washington. I majored in English when I went off to college, and I was a first-generation college student, like many of my own students. I came to CWU for my Master's degree and stayed on staff to continue teaching after I finished. My hobbies include reading, gardening, completing home improvement projects, going to the theatre, cross-stitching, and snuggling with my cat.
