Cynthia Pengilly, PhD, is associate professor of Africana & Black Studies and Women & Gender Studies at Central Washington University. She brings her expertise in illness narratives and critical disability theory to teach ASP/COM 452/552 Media Representations of Disability and ASP 440/540 Disability, Accessibility, and Social Justice.  She lives in Yakima WA.
