Ali Unal

I'm a fiction writer originally from Turkey. Before coming to the States, I worked as a freelance translator and publishing editor for a decade. I studied creative writing at UMass, Amherst and University of Louisiana, Lafayette. Here at CWU, I teach fiction and nonfiction as well as literary journal design & production around our department's literary magazine Manastash. Hopefully, I'll teach courses in my other areas of interest as well: Speculative Fiction and Cinema.
