Professional Overview:

• Jo is pursuing her BS degree in Interdisciplinary Studies at CWU. She has worked in multiple areas of higher education including admissions, advising, Deans operating, and academic affairs. Creating an environment where students, staff, and faculty can reach their full potential is her "why".

Professional Experience:

• Jo started working at CWU as a Wildcat Student Ambassador and Tour Guide. She then moved to supporting the College of the Sciences in the Dean’s office and Academic Advising as an Office Assistant. Now she provides complex secretarial support to the department chair, faculty, staff, and students in the Department of Engineering Technologies, Safety & Construction.

Diversity and Inclusivity:

• Jo served on the College of Education and Professional Studies Equity, Diversity, Inclusivity, and Belonging committee. In this role she collaborated on initiatives aimed at fostering an inclusive workplace culture and driving positive change.

While she’s not at work, Jo spends her time making memories with her family and friends. You can find her crafting and making gifts for those she holds dear.
