Biography

Dr. Jadelyn Abbott works with preservice and practicing educators to strengthen literacy instruction and improve outcomes for all learners. As Literacy faculty and the Instructional Coaching Certificate Coordinator, she supports educators in developing the knowledge, skills, and confidence needed to provide effective literacy instruction, assessment, and coaching across diverse educational settings. Drawing from her experiences teaching elementary students in rural Idaho, Dr. Abbott brings a deep appreciation for the strengths of rural communities and the importance of equitable literacy opportunities for every child.
