Howard Barlow
Senior Lecturer
Howard Barlow is a Senior Lecturer in Wood Design and 3D Design at Central Washington University, where he has taught in the Department of Art and Design since 2001. He also taught art at Columbia Basin College from 2004 through 2017. Howard earned his MFA in Sculpture from Central Washington University in 2000.
His work has been exhibited at the Bellevue Art Museum, Museum of Northwest Art, Whatcom Museum, Bumbershoot, and numerous galleries throughout the Northwest and nationally. Reviews of his work have appeared in Artweek, The Stranger, Seattle Weekly, Art Ltd., and the Seattle Post-Intelligencer, among others.
Howard is a past recipient of two Artist Trust GAP Grants, and his work is included in the Microsoft and Washington State public art collections. He is also a founding member and current board member of PUNCH Projects.
