About Me

Background:

Hello, my name is Taylor, I am an academic advisor for the College of Business. I have a BA in Anthropology from the University of California, Santa Cruz and an MS from CWU in Primate Behavior and Ecology. Most of my prior experience has been in management, specifically from Starbucks and I have spent time interning at Chimpanzee Sanctuary Northwest. During my time as a graduate assistant is when I learned that I have a passion for helping students, which eventually led me to my academic advising endeavors.

Industry Experience:

I am still very new in the world of higher ed, this is my first job outside of management aside from being a graduate assistant while in my masters program. I hope to work in academic advising for the next few years while I decide on which higher ed path to embark on next.
