Background:
         

Jenny Cravens, CPA, is the P.R. O’Shaughnessy Executive Professor of Accounting. She is passionate about providing CWU students with a high-quality education and unwavering support while they are enrolled in the College of Business. With a goal to fully prepare students for launching their careers upon graduation, she leverages her extensive real-world experience in banking, accounting, and finance. To the classroom, Prof. Cravens brings the perspective of a seasoned business leader and manager, ensuring that the information and knowledge delivered is not only relevant, but also engaging and thought-provoking.

She has worked at:

  • T-Mobile
  • Bank of America and Cashmere Valley Bank
  • She has served on multiple boards including with the Washington Society of CPAs and Confluence Health.
  • Prior to her current roles, Prof.Cravens served as the CFO of Cashmere Valley Bank, a publicly held community bank in Central Washington.
  • She recently received the President’s Award from the Washington Society of CPAs for her commitment to and passion for the CPA profession.
