Undergraduate Application

At CWU Lynnwood, we are dedicated to making your application process as seamless and straightforward as possible.

Before applying, please note that CWU Lynnwood accepts students who have graduated with an associate's degree. If you plan to enroll in a Running Start program or start as a freshman (1st year) at Central, apply to the Sammamish Center (Running Start only) or the Ellensburg (Main Campus) campus instead.

Step 1: Prepare Your Transcripts

Before transferring to CWU, you need to submit official transcripts from all previously attended institutions.

Step 2: Create Your CWU Account

Register for an account on the CWU Online Application Portal.

Step 3: Log into the Application Portal

Log into the application portal with your new account and complete all required sections of the application. Note: Select "Lynnwood" from the Location drop-down menu to apply as a CWU Lynnwood student. This step is crucial to becoming a Lynnwood Center student.

Step 4: Submit your Transcripts

Central needs your Official Transcripts from previously attended institutions. You can ask the administration of your previous institutions to send your official transcripts directly to CWU. If you are in the middle of the quarter—don't worry! We accept in-progress transcripts as well. Please send your final, official transcript upon graduating.

Step 5: Pay the Application Fee

Pay the non-refundable $60 application fee. If you have 0-60 college credits and are considering becoming a CWU student, apply for the ETA+ program to have your tuition fee waived!
