Wildcats Do the Work that Moves the World Forward
Kandee Cleary
Former Vice President of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion, Dr. Kandee Cleary, received the fourth annual Bobby Cummings Lifetime Achievement Award for her commitment to challenging practices and policies that become barriers to faculty, staff, and students.
Cleary returned to her role with the faculty in Central Washington University’s Department of Sociology after more than a decade of service on the university’s Executive Leadership Team.
Manny Valencia
Accounting Department’s student worker, Manny Valencia, was recognized at the 2023 Diversity Awards for his commitment to DEI in the workplace and classroom.
Manny embraces differences and honors different backgrounds, learning styles, and life experiences.
