Our Transfer Center serves as a hub to help you and other students effortlessly transition to CWU by providing the following services:
- Coordinate visits to and from community colleges across Washington State
- Provide essential admissions information and campus referrals
- Help host key events like Transfer Student Orientation and Week of Welcome
- Build CWU’s growing transfer student community across our campuses
Transfer Excellence Scholarship
You may be eligible for $2,000 per year, up to three years ($6,000 total)
Eligibility requirements:
- Transfer Student starting at CWU during the 2026-27 academic year
- 3.0 Transfer Cumulative GPA, 2.75 CWU cumulative GPA to renew
- Enrolled in a minimum of 12 credits per quarter
- Ellensburg campus
Early Transfer Admission+
The Early Transfer Admission Plus (ETA+) program is for students who have earned 60 or fewer credits at time of application. We'll help you streamline your path from community college to Central Washington University through:
- Academic major advising
- Financial aid workshops
- Career counseling to help in your degree planning process
- $60 application fee waiver
