Web Training for department Content Creators

Unitl further notice all trainings will be conducted via Zoom.

Zoom Meeting Requirements

  • Download Zoom via the link recieved via the confirmation page.
  • Microphone (Optional, but strongly recommended)
  • Video Camera (Optional)

You will recieve the Zoom meeting information once you sign up for a training time.

Trainings should be taken in the following order based on your needs:

  1. Basic Training
  2. 2019 training -or- webform -or- both if needed

Basic Training

Example of 2016 themeThe Basic Training for department Content Creators should be the first training you take. It is required for sites in both the 2016 and 2019 theme. This training will cover the basics: logging in, using the editor and publishing content. Basic training is held Tuesdays, every other week. You can sign up for a date and time using the webform below.

2019 Theme Training

Example of a site in the 2019 theme The 2019 Theme Training for department Content Creators is a supplemental training to be taken after the Basic Web Training. This training will cover how to add content in the 2019 theme. This training will NOT cover the basics: logging in, using the editor and publishing content. Please take the Basic Training prior to taking this meeting. 2019 Theme training is held Tuesdays, every other week. You can sign up for a date and time using the webform below.

If you have not taken the Basic Training above, please take that training prior to signing up for the 2019 theme training.

Webform Training

Example of a webform pageThe Webform Training for department Content Creators is a supplemental training to be taken after the Basic Web Training. This training will cover how to add access to create Webforms on either the 2016 or 2019 theme. This training is not mandatory if your site is in the 2019 theme, however if you need access to edit and create webforms you must take this training. Check with your supervisor if you are not sure, as only 3 editors per site can access webforms.

Regardless of whether your site is on the 2016 theme or the 2019 theme, in order for you to be able to edit and create webforms you are required to take this training.
