User’s roles and permissions have changed
We have merged the Content Manager and Content Editor roles into one Content Creator role. The Content Creator role has both edit and publishing rights. This switch is automatic on the backend and there is no need to do anything on your end.
Why this change?
Content Editors and Content Managers shared an almost identical set of permissions. The workflow that the majority of CWU’s content creators employ when publishing content is one that benefits from consolidating the two roles.
Does this affect you?
The most significant difference that will affect only a small number of users is access to Drupal’s web forms. Web form access is now a stand-alone role and will be available to anyone who manages a web form and has taken web form training from the web services office.
