Volunteers Still Needed for Tuesday Vaccination Clinic

Monday, April 19, 2021

Volunteers are still needed for Tuesday’s COVID-19 vaccination clinic in the SURC, where Student Health Services will be administering up to 300 shots of the vaccine to members of the CWU community.

Four nonmedical volunteers are needed for the morning session and three more spots are available in the afternoon. If you would like to help, please sign up online at https://www.signupgenius.com/go/10c0d4eada928a0fcc61-cwuvaccine1

Both of the clinics are for CWU students and employees only, and will be held from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. in the SURC ballroom. Those with appointments will be asked to present their Connection Card at check-in.

The Kittitas County Health Department plans to commit up to 300 doses of the Moderna vaccine, which requires a second dose 28 days after the first one is administered. Details for the May follow-up clinics will be available soon.

Another on-campus vaccination clinic will be held on Tuesday, April 27.

Signups for both events are on a first-come, first-served basis at SignupGenius.com. All of the April 20 appointments have been filled and a waiting list has been provided.

Signups for the April 27 clinic will begin online this week by using the above link.
