Assistant Vice President for Development
The Assistant Vice President for Development, an inclusive, strategic, and collaborative leader, provides vision, leadership, and management for all facets of University Advancement’s development programs, particularly annual, foundation, mid-level, major, and principal giving. This newly created position reports directly to the Vice President of University Advancement and Executive Director of the CWU Foundation and leads a talented development team of eight development professionals. The Assistant Vice President serves as an active, collegial member of the Advancement Leadership Team and works closely with the highest levels of senior university staff, trustees, and volunteers. The AVP will be a key leader in the creation and execution of a comprehensive fundraising campaign. This position is based in Ellensburg with the flexibility for working remotely as needed.

Senior Director, Advancement
Central Washington University is recruiting a Senior Director of Advancement Services to join our University Advancement team in Ellensburg, Washington. This role is an important member of our team as they enhance the vision for the University. The role is a campus-based position, which means you get to see the lives you are impacting. We're offering a salary, depending on experience, from $96,000 - $107,622 annually plus the awesome CWU benefits.
The Senior Director, Advancement Services has responsibility to ensure that technology, data, and other advancement services are functioning at a high level and working in close coordination with CWU and CWU Foundation financial systems. This ensures that CWU Foundation can grow its engagement and fundraising programs, receive gifts and donors are confident that gifts are used according to donor intent. The role provides oversight and management of all advancement services including data management, reporting and analytics, gift processing, prospect research/management and donor stewardship/special events functions.
The Senior Director serves as the Chief Compliance Officer for the CWU Foundation and oversees all compliance matters, including the gift agreement process. The Senior Director promotes continual improvement practices across University Advancement. and leads various operational issues such as professional development and talent management, related to University Advancement office operations to ensure that the Advancement program functions at a high level. The Senior Director manages a variety of key vendor relationships on behalf of Advancement rated to data and technology and is responsible for ensuring all vendors and staff who have access to Advancement data understand and are covered by relevant confidentiality policies and procedures. Donor Stewardship Officer
Central Washington University is recruiting for a Donor Stewardship Officer to join our advancement team. This role is an important member of our team as they are responsible for leading, designing, implementing and strategic management of a comprehensive donor stewardship program for donors to CWU Foundation and for the University. This role may be based in the Seattle area or Ellensburg with periodic Ellensburg campus visits. We're offering a salary, depending on experience, from $63,776 - $79,720 annually plus the awesome CWU benefits.
The Donor Stewardship Officer is responsible for leading, designing, implementing and strategic management of a comprehensive donor stewardship program for donors to CWU Foundation. This includes directing efforts to enhance the overall giving experience for CWU donors and demonstrate the impact of their support. This position will work with closely with advancement leadership and development officers on specific donor stewardship strategies in accordance with the fiduciary responsibilities; and manage a program of donor recognition gift societies and donor engagement and stewardship events.
