We're kicking off SOURCE in style! The opening session will include music from our very own 88.1 The 'Burg, an inspiring keynote from Distinguished Professor of Biology and STEM Education Dr. Ian Quitadomo, and a fashion show preview hosted by CWU's Apparel, Textiles, and Merchandising department all accompanied by light breakfast items and beverages.
Come interact with your peers and learn about the projects they are working on across all disciplines here at CWU. The Library will host most of the posters, with Hogue Tech hosting presentations from our Engineering students. The posters and presentations will be displayed in two separate one-hour sessions, so make plans to attend both!
Wander around the CWU campus to experience a variety of presentations including research talks, dance performances, spoken word poetry, artwork displays, live demonstrations, and so much more! We'll provide you with a detailed list of where and when each of the presentations is scheduled for (closer to the event) so that you can plan your afternoon accordingly.
New to SOURCE this year: College Open Houses! Each college will host an open house offering a peek into the interactive and innovative methods and projects (high impact practices) faculty are using to teach here at CWU. Learn more about each college and the programs they offer, and see what their faculty are passionate about. Stay tuned for more information on where each college will be hosting their open house.
This is an opportunity to participate in panels hosted by CWU faculty, staff, students, and some special guests!
We'll be concluding SOURCE with our reception and awards ceremony. There will be live music, food and beverages, and of course the awards for outstanding student presentations and faculty mentors. Join us to celebrate all of the hard work that goes into presenting at SOURCE and doing research and creative projects in general!
