Special Education Non-Endorseable P-12 Minor

The CWU Special Education P-12 Non-Endorsable Minor Program is specifically designed to prepare school personnel for meeting the diverse tasks required in teaching individuals with disabilities.

Coming in Fall 2019! High Incidence, Inclusion Special Education Endorsable Minor!

Program Highlights

  • Find an instructional support position in any district in Washington, because Special Education is the area of greatest demand in Washington State, the US and abroad

  • Prepares educators to to support exceptional learners in the P-12 schools

  • Practical knowledge and instruction development though interactive and hands-on learning and field experiences

  • Thorough preparation for individuals interested in school psychology and other support personnel to work well with behavior management, team collaboration,and Individual Education Plans

  • Knowledgeable and experienced faculty who focus on engagement, quality learning and positive learning environments

  • Integration of authentic materials, field experiences and technology into every course
