Building Services staff are essential in a facility which operates 17 hours a day with multiple traffic patterns of up to 12,000 people in any given day. Part of day-to-day operations include locking and unlocking the facility, policy enforcement, and maintaining the cleanliness and functionality of the Student Union.
Building Managers are always available during operational hours and are more than happy to assist building guests. Building Managers provide rooms set-up, event support, building security and logistical coordination in the case of an emergency. We are the first point of contact for guests visiting the building and our staff will do everything possible to ensure customers' needs are met beyond expectations. Custodial & Maintenance
The Custodial and Maintenance staff work year-round to ensure the Student Union looks as good today as it did the day it opened. Custodial staff focuses on prompt and timely response of building cleanliness during the academic year with deep cleaning opportunities during the breaks. Maintenance staff oversees the day to day building structure and integrity, collaborates with Facilities Management for specialized building projects, and has oversight of building contracted services.
