Observer: Wildcat Pantry hosts Pack the Pantry to support student needs
Pack the Pantry is an annual drive, but this year the Wildcat Pantry team is trying something different. The drive will be separated into four weeks, each with its own theme of donations.
Observer: Students connect at Sharing the Abundance Fall Festival
The Sharing the Abundance Fall Festival is an event that gave students the opportunity to talk to organizations that offer resources for students. The event took place on Oct. 14 at 6 p.m. on McIntyre Hall Lawn East and continued until the start of the Wellington Wildfire.
Observer: PUSH and Second Harvest provides free groceries to students
Second Harvest and PUSH worked together to bring a mobile food pantry to CWU and provided a weeks’ worth of food to about 200 students on campus. The mobile food pantry was located on the SURC east patio. Second Harvest helps to provide food to partnering food banks, whether it’s through food donations or going out to buy food with donated money.
