Fall Quarter Recap

With the blink of an eye Fall Quarter has already come to a close. This quarter was filled with events, shows, competitions, and lots of practice for all of the CWU Sport Clubs. We started off the school year with Men’s and Women’s Club Soccer matches every weekend against teams including Washington State University, University of Idaho, University of Washington, Eastern Washington University, Gonzaga, and WSUTC. On October 26th the Men’s team competed at Regionals in Salt Lake, Utah. Men’s and Women’s Lacrosse also had a great season while competing in tournaments in Boise, ID, Missoula, MT, and Bend, OR. They also had their annual game on Halloween in which the Men’s and Women’s team played against each other.
The Dance Team had multiple performances throughout the quarter which included football games, volleyball games, the Wellington Fire, Homecoming, and the Rodeo Parade. The Equestrian Team competed at WSU on October 28th for their first IHSA competition. Additionally, the team hosted and competed in the CWU Double Western Show in Ellensburg, Washington November 11th and 12th which helped raised money for their club as well as allow the members to compete against teams from all over Washington and Oregon.

This quarter ended with the Water Polo Team competing in and hosting the annual tournament at the Aquatic Center on November 18th and 19th.  CWU hosted nine other teams and played a total of four games.
