Sammy Rangel, author of Fourbears: Myths of Forgiveness and the co-founder of Life After Hate (an organization with unique insight into the far-right extremist movement), will visit Central Washington University at 6 p.m. on Thursday, February 22.
Rangel will share his personal story, as well as strategies for changing the narrative through compassion and reconciliation. This event is free and open to the public, and will take place in the Student Union and Recreation Center Ballroom.
Rangel will host a CWU faculty/staff workshop from 1-2 p.m. and a CWU student workshop from 4-5 pm. titled “Strategies for Combatting Hate.”
