The CWU Retirement Association (CWURA) is a vibrant group of individuals who enjoy the opportunity to explore more leisurely pursuits, while continuing to participate in the CWU community. The CWURA provides many ways of doing so, including informal gatherings, educational and pleasurable excursions, lectures, and informational programs for retirees.
Join us on Thursday, January 28th at 11:00 a.m. for a virtual tour of the New Health Sciences Building
Construction began in November 2019 on this 80,748 square foot facility, which is projected to be completed by November 2021. The building will be three stories tall and have a capacity to house 630 students in a mix of classroom and laboratory instructional spaces. This $60 million state-of-the-art facility will house the school’s Exercise Sciences, Clinical Physiology, Nutrition, Paramedicine, and Public Health programs.
Our presenter and tour guide is Project Architect Doug Ryder. Doug will walk us through the design elements and special features of the building. Also presenting will be Professor Vince Nethery from the Department of Health Sciences who will share updates about the academic enhancements in the new building.
To register for the virtual tour, contact Catherine Scarlett at catherine.scarlett@cwu.edu or 509-963-3083. Or register online at: https://cwu.zoom.us/webinar/register/WN_N47K5WioROKNSL7mlOjBEw

If you would like to be interviewed or would like to volunteer, please contact Corwin King at kingc@fairpoint.net.
