The CWU Retirement Association (CWURA) is a vibrant group of individuals who enjoy the opportunity to explore more leisurely pursuits, while continuing to participate in the CWU community. The CWURA provides many ways of doing so, including informal gatherings, educational and pleasurable excursions, lectures, and informational programs for retirees.

Campus Walk for International Women's Day - March 8, 2021

Join the CWURA in a celebration of International Women’s Day as we do a walking tour of the CWU Campus and recognize the many buildings named for women.  Learn the stories of the women who are part of CWU's history and of the buildings that bear their names.  The walk will start at Purser Hall at 11:00 a.m.  Facial coverings and social distancing will be observed.

The CWU Living History Project

The CWURA, in partnership with the CWU Archives and Special Collections, continues our support of the Living History Project to capture Central’s history through oral interviews. If you would like to be interviewed or would like to volunteer, please contact Corwin King at kingc@fairpoint.net.  Help spread the word to others who have been part of Central’s history by encouraging participation in this project.

You can view the past CWU Retirement Association Interviews online hosted by the CWU Brooks Library.
