Volunteers Needed

The Ellensburg AARP TAX-AIDE team is recruiting volunteer tax counselors to assist individuals in preparing income tax returns. Tax preparation is on Wednesdays and Thursdays, starting February 7 and ending April 12 at the Calvary Baptist Church Annex, 507 North Pine. Preparation is accomplished between 9AM and 3PM on these days.
Training starts in early January. The volunteer is not expected to work every day or all day when volunteering, but is expected to volunteer no less than part of 10 days during the tax season. Successful completion of several test are required for certification. All training materials are supplied and you will be supervised and mentored by experienced certified personal.
