COVID-19 Updates & FAQs

Looking for a way to support students through the pandemic?

We are looking for volunteers to help make masks for students on campus. If you're so inclined, have the skill and the passion and would like to make Central themed masks (think crimson and black) we would love your support in building masks and donating for our students this fall. Help us reach our goal of 10,000 masks to provide one for every student.

Please contact the university advancement office at 509-963-2160 to let us know how many you would like to make!

Don’t have the ability to sew your own masks? Click the link to give on this page or visit and donate to the Students First Fund and enter "PPE" help purchase masks or other personal protective gear.

Please note that the Wildcat Walkers group has suspended walks during this time.  This is a correction to information recently sent to the CWURA via email.  We will update the status of the walking group as conditons change due to the pandemic.

The purpose of the CWURA is to provide continuing social, emotional, and intellectual engagement while maintaining treasured relationships with friends and former colleagues.
