CWU Information Services recommends the use of Microsoft Security Essentials as antivirus software for your personal and home Windows computers. Security Essentials runs on Windows XP, Vista, and 7 and is available as a free download from Microsoft's website. You can download a copy by following this link: http://windows.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/security-essentials-download Microsoft Security Essentials provides real-time protection that guards against viruses, spyware, and other malicious software. It is simple to install, easy to use, and is automatically updated to protect your PC with the latest technology.
If you have a Mac OSX, we recommend the use of Avast anti-virus and you can download a copy here: https://www.avast.com/en-us/free-mac-security
