CWU Recreation Marketing department wins a 2019 National NIRSA award

ELLENSBURG, Wash. – The CWU Recreation Marketing department has been awarded the coveted “Best Integrated Marketing Campaign” award for the 2019 National NIRSA awards. In collaboration with CWU Hype’s graphic designer, Kaitlyn Kurisu, Recreation Marketing has earned first place for its submission; Marketing Beyond Campus: Advancing Camp C-Woo.

“I was given the opportunity to jump in on this project and it turned into something so much bigger than I had ever expected,” said Kurisu. “I am beyond thankful to have received this award and thankful for the past four years of working with the amazing Camp C-Woo team!”

In November, Alex Lee, coordinator for  Indoor  Operations and Camps  and Claire Cox, coordinator for Marketing and Health Programming, presented at the NIRSA & ACUI Collegiate Marketing Institute in New Orleans, Louisiana.

"It's a great honor to be recognized with the ‘Integrated Marketing Campaign’ award for Camp C-Woo," said Lee. “Camp C-Woo has grown in massive ways over the last couple of years and I am excited to see what the future holds.”
