Introduction and discussion by Professor Mark Auslander, Director of the Museum of Culture & Environment
Brooks Library in collaboration with Africana and Black Studies, Museum of Culture and Environment, and Student Success is celebrating Black History Month with a three part film and discussion series entitled Created Equal Film Series: America’s Civil Rights Struggle.
"Slavery by Another Name" is a documentary that recounts the many ways in which American slavery persisted as a practice many decades after its supposed abolition.
"Created Equal Film Series: America’s Civil Rights Struggle" is made possible through a major grant from the National Endowment for the Humanities, as part of its Bridging Cultures initiative, in partnership with the Gilder Lehrman Institute of American History.
