Protecting the rights of others and ensuring the public’s safety and security is not only noble but satisfying. The study of law and justice prepares students for employment and to respect the rights of individuals in their professional roles.
Graduates of this program go on to serve as correction officers, juvenile justice officers, law enforcement officers, and wildlife agents.
Careers in these fields are in growing demand.

Students can earn their bachelor degree on the Ellensburg main campus, as well as branch campuses in Lynnwood and Des Moines. An online-only program is also available.

CWU’s Law and Justice Department is celebrating its 20th anniversary. While we are marking two decades since the establishment of the department, law and justice courses have been taught at Central for a much longer period of time.
Students can earn a law and justice degree at CWU campuses in Des Moines and Lynnwood.
