Victoria Green (MS '19) and Dr. Kara Gabriel are the authors of a new study just published in the American Journal of Primatology. The study highlights Green's MS thesis research on the ethical concerns of primatologists toward their habituated study populations. The data was collected from 286 primate researchers and provides insight into how primatologists rank ethical concerns relative to their study groups (e.g., changes to activity budgets, displaying signs of stress), what they perceive to be their own ethical duties to their study groups, and what actions they take to mitigate harm while in the field.
You can find the paper on the AJP website or reach out directly to Victoria Green for more information (victoriamgreen@outlook.com).
